Behavior and Wellness Service Options:

In-Home Behavior Consultation

Phone Consult

Up to 30 minutes to answer your cat behavior or cat care questions. This call can help determine if you need to seek further medical or behavior advice if you are not sure if the behavior issue warrants a full consultation. For serious issues like aggression or litterbox issues, this call can be the start of a further consult. A home consult provides a thorough assessment and may be necessary to provide a detailed and individualized behavior modification plan.  If you decide to do a home consult after the phone call, the $50 will be deducted from the home consult fee.

If your cat has a behavioral issue, please visit your veterinarian first to rule out any medical issues

which can be causing or contributing to the problem.

Kitten Training and Care

An in-home consultation working with you and your kitten(s) to develop a routine and training program setting up a lifetime of benefits for you and your cats. This consult consists of setting up a purrfect environment which allows cats to exercise, play, and build confidence. This consult can also include answering cat care questions, cat proofing one’s home, and learning fun play and/or training techniques.

Senior Care and Wellness

Seniors may need their environment evaluated to ensure their needs continue to be met, especially when they start slowing down and begin experiencing medical issues. This in-home consult provides guidance on ensuring the best care possible for your senior including nutritional advice, providing the best set up of resources (food, water, litter), and ensuring continued mental stimulation and exercise.

Cat Care and Wellness

An in-home consultation to evaluate your cat's environmental and enrichment needs. This consult can be catered to your needs, and can include training and playtime techniques, resource location recommendations, cat care and safety information, and ways to keep your cat physically and mentally stimulated. This consult is ideal for new cat owners and a good refresher for even experienced ones.

A behavior consult will comprehensively address behavior issues by evaluating your cat's behavior and medical history, meeting you and your cat at your home to discuss the issues and assess the environment, and developing an individualized step by step written plan to resolve the issues. Support will be provided for 2 months to guide you in implementing the plan, if needed. I travel to most parts of Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens that are accessible by train.
